Meet Terri
My parents bought our first family dog, "Missy" from Lollypop Farm when I was four years old. Missy was a little black and white ball of fluff. She was a Lab/Beagle mix and an instant member of our family. From that young age I loved teaching Missy to sit, stay, give a paw, high five, balance a treat on her nose, and walk on a leash. We were lucky, she was with us for fourteen amazing years.
As an adult, as soon as we bought a house, we brought our first puppy home. She was a Black Labrador Retriever named Chelsea and she was our baby. My love of having a pup as a member of the family was solidified forever.
As a school administrator, in 2009, we brought therapy dogs into our school to "read" with our students once per month. The program was wildly popular. Again, I was hooked and wanted my own dogs to become certified therapy dogs to bring joy, comfort, and healing to others. It was then that I decided I wanted to learn to train these amazing creatures to help and heal others, especially children.

We brought Murphy home on May 28, 2017. It was love at first sight, he looked like a polar bear cub. He was sweet, smart, calm, and adorable. We began training at ten weeks old. He earned his STAR Puppy and was on his way to CGC and Therapy Dog Certification. He became our school's first certified therapy dog.
Since then, we have added Charlotte, Lily, Bodhi, and Finn to our pack. We went through extensive training with the girls, each getting their CGC and Therapy Certification. Both Charlotte and Lily are certified Therapy dogs. Bodhi is enrolled in his Canine Good Citizen Class and Finn, four months old, is starting his first STAR Puppy Classes in a week.
I look forward to sharing my love of dogs with you.
