A Work of Heart Is Becoming a Nonprofit Organization
A Work of Heart Therapy and Service Dogs is becoming a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the healing, comfort, companionship, and support of specially trained dogs to individuals, schools, healthcare settings, and communities.
Our mission has always been rooted in one simple belief: the human-animal bond can make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Through therapy dog visits, education, training, and service to our communities, we want to create opportunities for people to experience the comfort, connection, and joy that a well-trained therapy dog can provide.
As a nonprofit organization, A Work of Heart will be able to expand its outreach and create new opportunities to serve children, adults, families, educators, healthcare professionals, and community organizations. We look forward to developing partnerships with schools, healthcare facilities, community agencies, and other organizations that recognize the positive impact of therapy dogs.
